About
The Eastbourne Community Choir
The Eastbourne Community Choir meets on 42 Thursdays of the year with the aims of singing for fun, singing for health and making new friends. There is no commitment and it is possible to 'Pay as you Go'. There is no need to read music as lyric sheets are provided.
Live piano is used, and the music ranges from Classical and Traditional Spirituals to 'Songs from the Shows' and Pop Classics of the '60s, '70s and '80s.
Our venue is The All Saints Centre, Grange Road, Eastbourne which is step-free, fully-accessible and well-equipped. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the entry price of £7. We meet most Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.15pm.
For those who wish, performance opportunities are available and we have recently sung in The Beacon Centre, at an Eastbourne Street Party and at functions in several Sussex villages.
We are an extremely friendly, non-judgemental group. Whether you think you can sing or you think you can't, you are equally welcome!
We hold several social functions each year, for those who wish to attend.
We look forward to welcoming you to the choir!
